DLX Africa Holdings

A 20-page corporate website for DLX Africa Holdings: four divisions, ten businesses, governance and sustainability, and partner and careers enquiries, built on the approved Group concept.

The brief

DLX Africa Holdings runs ten businesses in four divisions. Its WordPress website needed to become more corporate and more elegant, and to carry the group's 2026 to 2028 business prospectus.

The brief was to publish what the group wanted public (who it is, how it is governed, what each business does) and to keep strategy detail private, while giving partners and applicants a clear way to get in touch.

What we decided

  1. Build on the approved Group concept

Ivory and navy surfaces, a serif voice, DLX orange accents, hairline rules, small-caps section numbers and a rising-line motif for ambition and growth, with no figures published.

  2. Put each business inside its division

Businesses sit within four divisions on the home page, in the Divisions menu and on the division pages, each with its service list and a link to its own site where one exists.

  3. Make partnering and careers easy

Dedicated pages and forms for Partner with us, Careers and the early-careers programme, plus a contact form.

  4. Keep the old addresses working

The old WordPress addresses redirect to their new pages, so existing links keep working.

  5. Rewrite the legal pages

Legal notice, privacy, cookie and terms pages follow the structure of the old ones.

DLX orange

Ivory and navy surfaces with DLX orange as the accent.

Type

A serif for headlines with a clean sans for text, loaded from Google Fonts.

Layout

Corporate and quiet: ivory surfaces, generous space and a navy footer that lists pages, not businesses.

Components

  • Square-cornered buttons and hairline rules
  • Small-caps section numbers
  • A rising-line motif for ambition, growth and performance
  • A Divisions menu with four divisions and ten businesses

The panel at the top of this page shows each project's colours and motif. It is a summary of the design system, not a screenshot. See the live site for the real pages.

Highlights

  • Each of the ten businesses appears inside its division rather than in the footer.
  • Division pages carry a service list for each business and link out to its own website where one exists.
  • Four enquiry forms: Partner with us, Contact, Careers and Early careers.

Built to generate leads

  • Four enquiry types, each feeding the group's lead database and each with a consent tick box.
  • A thank-you page confirms every submission.

Quality checks

  • Unique titles and descriptions, canonical links and a sitemap, with the old WordPress addresses redirected.
  • Rendered at 1440, 820 and 390 px wide on all 20 pages: no overflow and no console errors.
  • 70 behaviour checks (hero, menus, forms, division pages, lazy images, reduced motion) and an automated text-contrast scan.
